I’m dreaming of a white Easter…
Yep- it’s actually snowing out today. Thankfully, it’s not accumulating, but it’s still cold enough to snow. Brrrrr!!! Spring will have to wait a while this year I guess!
Easter with Molly this year has been a lot of fun… she’s getting old enough to look forward to holidays and is starting to grasp their meaning. I will admit, Easter is a tough concept to explain to a 3-year-old! I went shopping yesterday for some Easter basket goodies and it was really difficult for me to find anything actually associated with Jesus… frustrating and disturbing. But I did find some neat children’s books that talk about Easter and famous Bible stories.
I’m hanging in there… I’m 30 weeks along now, so the end is near! We meet with the doc this week for another sonogram and to hopefully get some answers on our birth options. I’m starting to slow down quite a bit, stairs really tire me out, and getting a good’s night sleep is next to impossible with the bathroom trips and tossing and turning. Oh well! I think that’s nature’s way of preparing moms for the middle-of-the-night feedings! Doug painted the spare bedroom a beautiful yellow, so now we have to decide if Molly will stay in the purple room or if she wants to move into the yellow room… she can’t quite make up her mind yet.
That’s about all the excitement here at the Campbell house… just waiting for spring to show up so we can get some fresh air!
Have a blessed Easter and hope that you celebrate the hope and joy that comes with Christ’s resurrection! Halleluiah!

Have you ever heard of Resurrection Eggs? I made a set for us- 12 plastic eggs with things inside that tell the resurrection story. We include them in the easter egg hunt and whoever finds the numbered eggs gets a special prize (dimes or quarters). We talk through them 1-12 to get through the story. There are things like a nail, perfume, sponge, etc. and the last one is empty- just like the tomb! If you want I can
Oops…send you the list is what I meant to finish writing.
