No more diapers for ducky, but what about Molly?
So I come home from work and Erin is reading the “No More Diapers for Ducky” book about potty training while Molly is sitting on her potty. Erin tells me how she was working with Molly about 3 or 4 times trying to make going potty fun. Not a drop though. I just finish cooking a steak (mmmmmm steak) on the grill and Molly says “gotta go potty” in her cute little voice looking up at me. I figure Erin’s been working very hard on this and that I should help encourage Molly as well despite the fact there’s a delicious steak just waiting to be eaten. So she sits on the potty and I start reading her book. A couple pages into the book she is checking inside the potty. Whoo Hoo! We have lift off! Molly’s first potty! So Erin and I showered her with praises, high fives, and lots of stickers.
Yet another case where Erin does all the hard work (like when someone is trying really hard to open a jar and then hands it to someone else who opens it easily) and I come in and end up the undeserving hero. Well, Molly is our hero for the day! And now the potty training saga begins… Stay tuned for all the funny stories of poop being smeared on walls and running naked and peeing and all the other weird things that happen.

Way to go, Molly!! I just hope you guys don’t find a poop trail on the stairs again
This endorsement is printed on the back of the book “No More Diapers for Ducky!” – A gentle and witty diapers-to-potty story.
It’s a cute book, but I wouldn’t call it “witty”… Anyway, we got her to go potty, even if Doug got to claim all the glory.

I’m curious to read through the “Everyone Poops” book I saw on Amazon… the kid on the front cover looks a little constipated if you ask me! And what kind of title is that??

Woo-hoo!! It begins. Good for you guys!! We were giving Eli M&M’s as treats for pottying, but the caffiene made him hyper, so we had to switch to yougurt-covered raisins.
YAY! that is exciting molly is growing up! Yeah that book wasn’t witty….
Way to go Mollygirl!! Or should I say Erinbelle!!
YEAH!!! What a big girl! How great is that?!
Time for #2, not as in the “potty #2″–but as in child #2!!
We love you and miss you!

Update: Molly saved the #2 for mommy… we had a successful poo on Thursday! Woo-hoo!
