Not sure if it’s taxes or the pregnancy or just getting older, but I found a few white hairs when I was glimpsing in the mirror yesterday… these weren’t merely gray hairs, but WHITE! What is going on here?? Am I getting “old” already? Doug suggested I save one for the scrapbook…

Other than that, not much else happening here… Molly is really into The Little Mermaid now. Ariel this, Ariel that. And she loves to dress up in pink princess clothes, so a big thank you to the Wilsons for giving us some of Regan’s old dress-up stuff! Molly is also VERY excited about Valentine’s Day, but I don’t know why… the teachers must be talking it up in preschool! Molly talks about a boy named Justin quite a bit, so I guess poor little Nicholas is out for now. Oh, the drama!

So we got hit with about about 10 inches of snow last Friday… the schools and many employers in town shut down for the day, which meant SNOW DAY for most of the people on our street. Seems like everyone got to stay home except for me and our neighbor Gary. So the adults, kids, and dogs braved the unplowed street for some sledding and some good old-fashioned snowball fighting. Make sure to check out the pics in our February album. Then one of our neighbors decided to throw a party that started in the afternoon and lasted well into the evening… good times!

Tuesday, we celebrated Doug’s birthday with a Homer Simpson cake… he thought it was pretty funny, and Molly thought it was very tasty! She’s getting geared up for her own birthday in a few weeks!
