Molly’s vocabulary is really expanding lately… she’s trying to sing songs like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and the alphabet song (which really is just the Twinkle Twinkle tune).  She is also starting to use verbs, or should I say VERB.  Everything is “do juice” or “do bath” or “do TV”.  At least she gets her point across! 

Molly and I were supposed to travel to Iowa this weekend to visit Molly’s new cousin Xavier.  Molly got pink eye earlier this week and Doug and I developed nasty colds with sore throats.  We haven’t gotten much better, so I decided it was best for us to stay home so we don’t risk getting anyone else sick.  At least we can still webcam!  And good thing we didn’t go… I woke up this morning with pink eye.  Yuck! 

Doug is up in Chicago where he will attend his high school reunion tonight… I’m sure he’ll have lots of good stories to share!

So I was shopping at my local grocery store last week, checking out the deals on ice cream (big surprise!), when I noticed this sign on the employee freezer entrance:

What is this all about? 13-year-olds are okay, but 14 and 15-year-olds can’t enter the freezer??  What?  Some of my high school friends used to work at Hy-Vee, so maybe they can shed some light on this.  I can only assume they mean to say 14 and 15-year-old EMPLOYEES cannot enter the freezer, but why?
