We sold our house! So now the real work begins… we’ve got to find someplace to live for 2 months until our house is ready, so now we’ve got to find an apartment and pack up the non-essentials for storage. But we sold our house without having to go through a realtor, so we’re happy! Doug had the honors of attaching the “sold” placard to our sign…

(Sorry that the photo appears foggy… it is so stinkin’ hot and humid here that the lens fogs up when we go outside! Yuck!)
Also, Molly’s favorite pasttime is to crawl underneath her highchair and play. It’s like her own little clubhouse! Very cute to watch!

I was out on the Internet and stumbled across this generator of Shakespearean insults:

So the next time you’re looking for a creative retort, get some “olde school” ideas from this site, including:
“Thou impertinent lily-livered death-token!”
“Thou mangled clapper-clawed pidgeon-egg!”

Just a quick post to let you know what’s going on at the site. Windows, shingles, electric, plumbing, and HVAC are all being installed as we speak. Doug and I have to make final decisions on floorcoverings within the week. According to the original schedule, we seem to be about 2 weeks behind, but hopefully they can catch up quickly before August. Siding and brick should be up by August, too!

For those who are interested in the details, here are some of the elements we’ve decided on so far:
Door style: Therma Tru Roman-style door
Cabinets: Terrace Thermofoil White (arches on upper cabinets)
Granite: Impala Black color
Tile choice (so far): Aida beige gray color
