… THAT is the question! If you had told me a year ago that Doug and I would be in a position to build a house, I would have thought you were out of your mind! Last spring, I quit my job so I could stay at home with Molly, then Doug took a pay cut to work in another department at work. God has taught us a lot about priorities and trust as we re-evaluated our budget and made some tough decisions.

And through all of that, God has also blessed us… we just recently paid off our student loans and we’re just a few car payments away from being debt-free (except for the mortgage!). And now our dream of building our own home may come true! Doug and I will no doubt butt-heads during the construction, but we are so excited about creating a living space that is tailored to our needs… we can’t wait to get started!

This is Molly’s latest game: she empties her basket of blocks, then she wears the basket on her head and crawls into the furniture. (I think she gets that from her father…) It’s very funny to watch and we are thinking about sending in the videotape to America’s Funniest Home Videos so we can cash in on the cuteness! You can check out new photos of Molly in our April album. She is walking around all the time now, climbs the stairs at every opportunity, and appears to be speaking her own adorable little language!

No, I haven’t seen the movie yet, but Molly did finally learn to walk over the weekend!! Yea!!! her mom and dad are so very proud! She still falls down a lot, but she’s making great strides – ha ha! Also, I posted a few more pictures of her in our March album so check them out.
